Free Pattern: Wave Stitch Dishcloth Size 3 Thread

This is a small dishcloth, about 5" by 5", made using only one ball of size 3 thread.  The idea of the wave stitch is to sc in every dc, to dc in every sc, and to hdc in every hdc.  It makes a nice texture.

Supplies:
One ball of size 3 thread, rolled into two littler balls.  (I used Red Heart Bridal White)
Size 5mm hook

Abbreviations:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Sts - stitches

Instructions:
With two strands held together throughout, ch 28.
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook.  Hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch.  [Sc, hdc, dc, hdc] across.  Sc, hdc, dc in last 3 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn.  [Sc, hdc, dc, hdc] across.  Sc, hdc, dc in last 3 sts.
Row 3-20: Repeat row 2.  Finish off, weave in ends.

  2. Hi Alli, I love your blog especially all of your beautiful hat patterns!! I couldn't sleep so am quietly huddled over my computer without waking the family - having a fabulous time ooohing and aaaahing over your lovely creations. I make loads of hats and can't wait to try some of your patterns.

    Have a fabulous week,
