Giveaway!

*This giveaway is closed*

This week I published my 100th free pattern!  In celebration, I'm going to do a giveaway!  I will choose two winners and send them three baby hats (one girl, one boy, one neutral).  Here are the hats to choose from:

The pink hat actually has a white flower, and the brown hat actually has a green edge instead of a green detail row.

To enter, please comment on this post with your email address (and just for fun, which of my patterns, if any, you've tried.  But you can enter even if you're not a crocheter!)

For an extra entry, share the contest on facebook and comment again that you did.

The contest will end at noon Sunday November 4, and after I generate the winning random numbers, I will email the winners.

Thanks for visiting and using my patterns!  I love hearing that you're making amazing things.

Congratulations to the winners!  Thanks, everybody, for entering!

  1. My neice is due to have her first baby in January..Making me a great aunt!! She won't tell us what she is having so making something will have to be generic. I will tell you though I think it is a girl..anyway I would be thrilled to have the hat with the ears and any boy and girl..I will just give them all to her..I have never tried your patterns as enjoy thread work so if you ever design something in thread send it my way and I will definately try it out. 2. I have loved your free patterns. I am through having babies, but thankfully many people around me keep having adorable babies. My daughter has made 6 of the newborn cluster hats to give to our local maternity hospital. This is the service she chose for honor society at high school. I have made 4 cluster hats to give away to friends and two for the hospital as I helped my daughter with her first two. She has the pattern memorized now. Thanks for your generosity!

  5. I love your patterns!! I have tried the earflap hats, the deeply textured hat with a brim, and the fuzzy bear hats! Actually I made my son a little football helmet when I was pregnant and plan to try making a bigger one for his Halloween costume, too! I modify the add-ons like bear ears and the ear flaps and the brim to be slightly different but I love all of your patterns. I like how you will take a pattern you find somewhere else and make it your own - it helps me think outside the box and do that myself!

My daughter just found out yesterday that she and her husband are pregnant with their first baby! I used the pattern for the cluster hat today to go with a blanket that I also made today. It turned out so cute!!! Thanks for posting the free patterns. I was just looking at the hat with ears thinking I'd try my hand at it tomorrow along with the wrap around boots. I'm in "Grammy" mode! 38. I absolutely LOVE your blog & it has inspired me to start crocheting again, I was looking for a cute pattern for my 16 month old baby girl & found your blog. I started when my oldest daughter was about 7 and went on for about 2 years... She is now 12 & I now have 4 daughters lol... 12, 9, 6, & 16 mos... I had to stop because I didn't have time with all the mommy work, college & a full time job. I lost my job in Feb this year so I had more time & with the baby decided to pick it back up... My oldest foster daughter (yes we have a total of 8 children) just found out she was pregnant @ 17... I still keep in touch with her & we're very close so I decided to make her baby some stuff... So far I have made her the earflap hat & the butterfly hat as well as matching mommy & baby bracelets and plans for several more. I have also made the crayon pouch, earflap hat, baby headband, boo boo buddy cover, and several other hats as well as the make up remover pads & baby washcloths... I want to say THANK YOU for putting your time & heart into your blog & most of all for sharing with all of us! I GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!
I would love to win something that you have put as much time & love in as I do for my girls... my email address is harrisonmommy4@gmail.com.

I love making baby hats; there's something about a normal item that's micro-sized for a peanut that makes it about 100x cuter! Thanks for the chance to win :)

  52. Hello Alli from beautiful Homer, Alaska!! I am hooked on your page! It's the only crochet site I have saved into my favorites on my Kindle! Your patterns are very easy to follow and I thank you for the magic ring trick!! I was a so-so, ok beginner in crochet and with your easy instructions, I've learned to read stitches! I have made many of your flowers, (made for headbands for my girls), as well as the preemie earflap hat for my girls' favorite toys. My oldest son has a cozy earflap hunting hat made with the earflap hat pattern with slight modifications for fit. Next on the "to do" list is the little fishing game to make for my 19 month old son. Thank you for sharing your fabulous ideas and patterns! =D

  53. I found your blog and love it! The patterns are so easy (for a beginner like me) and they are easy to make bigger. I have made several for my baby girl and they all look adorable on her. My favorite are the butterfly and ear flap. Just made an ear flap one with orange and green for her pumpkin Halloween outfit, way cute! I also make them for baby showers and they still the show. =D

It would be fun to see more for older children. And maybe even some for grown ups. Maybe Mother/Daughter matching hats.... Or a way cute "belt" that goes around your midsection that I found on pinterest. Just some different ideas. If not, everything you do make is fabulous! Thank you for all your do!

4, 5, and 6 are my favorite hats. My email is mccfamily2003@hotmail.com. Please keep the patterns coming!

My favorite is #5, unfortunately she was unable to understand the pattern and complete the hat for me, so I would LOVE to win it! I would love for you to recommend a "beginner" hat for me to attempt! 61. Can I tell you how much I love your patterns! I have made the crochet hook case twice now. I made one for myself, which really helped organize my mess of a bag and just made another for as a Christmas gift for my grandmother. I am hoping to start a hat for my new little girl, but I have to keep working on the magic ring. Do you have any tips for working the ring? I cannot get mine to close. Thank you so much for sharing your patterns.
