ReplyDeleteHi Alli -
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance, could you write down the exact amount of stitches per round? I just made this and it turned out much bigger than a 3 mo. old size so I'm off somewhere. Thanks! Love your patterns! Look forward to something new every week!
Thanks for posting this pattern, I love it! Just finished making this hat and it turned out great. Thanks again! :)
ReplyDeleteI am trying to make this hat for a 12 month old so I am adding more increases, but I keep making it so that it just looks way too big - or the top is really flat and it just goes straight down. Any suggestions on modifying it for a 12 month size?
ReplyDeleteCaiti,
ReplyDeleteChange Round 5 to dc 3 instead of 7. Then do a row of dc around, then do one more row of increases, with 4 dcs between 2dcs. If that's too big, try 9 dcs between 2dcs in that last increase row.
Alli
Thank you so much for the pattern, to this beautiful hat.
