Love these bold colors together. I originally thought of this as a boy hat, but the open version of the large no-sew rose really works!

Rounds 11-16: Repeat rounds 9 and 10 three times. Finish off. Weave in ends.
Note: You can drop color 1 and pick it back up again, but color 2 should be cut and woven in, since it will show under the ch-3 space from the dc row.

It is so cute Alli,
ReplyDeleteThankyou for sharing your creativeness with us :)
How many increases for a 16mth old?
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard pattern to adjust. Play around with it, and see how it goes. For a 16 month old you're looking at probably a 20" head circumference.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see patterns for 5 year old to 12 year old range. I am making chemo caps for kids in the hospital. Looking for different patterns. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Alli. I've made lots of your patterns over the years but this my first time making this one. If you use the hidden seam technique you can carry both colours up without cutting. Don't count the chain as a stitch, join in the top of the first stitch and not the chain, dc (or whatever stitch) into the same stitch as joining. It works beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to comment as me it keeps coming up with my husband....
Kind regards Rosalind
