  2. This is adorable! My daughter and I are preparing to open an etsy shop, and we're thrilled to feature a few of your patterns. And a HUGE thank you for the Magic Ring! I've crocheted for years, but yours are the first patterns I've seen that use it. Love it!

  4. I love your patterns! I have a question though - if I want to use a different weighted yarn, how do I adjust the pattern/hook size to still get the right size end product? Example - if you use a worsted weight for the hat with ear flaps, but i want to use a sport/baby weight, what would I change to still gaurantee a newborn fit? (thanks, I'm new to this!)

  7. Maybe you can help me. I'm VERY new to crochet, and I dont understand what it means when it says 2 dc in each dc. How do I do 2 double crochet in 1... does my question make sense?
    Thanks you

  12. I just stopped by during my internet search for an easy, adaptable baby hat pattern. I was so pleased with how easy this pattern is to follow. I love the fact that it can be customized with a variety of embellishments! Ears, flowers, tassels, pom poms, and more can easily be added to the finished hat. Thanks so much for sharing!

And...Dianna, try joining at the top of the ch 3 stitch and not in the space between the ch 3 and neighboring dc (if this makes sense :)This should eliminate the gaping hole you mention.

  13. Awesome and easy pattern! Thank you so much! I do have a question, I'm a noob to crochet, so in row 2 when you say dc in each dc, do you mean in the top of the stitch or in the post? If that makes sense??? Thanks in advance!

  14. A couple questions... On the ears, where it says "repeat twice" does that mean you do it two times total... Or a total of three? Also, do you ch one each time you turn, or only the one time it is mentioned?
