Free Pattern: Bobble Flower Applique
Three of these sweet, puffy flowers were the appliques on my Bobblicious Baby Hat. For the flower on the far left, I used a 5 mm (H/8) hook, and for the two flowers on the right I used a 4.25mm (G/6) hook.
Supplies:
Very small amount any sized yarn (I used sport weight yarn)
Crochet hook appropriate for your yarn
Yarn needle for sewing on
Abbreviations:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Special stitch:
Bobble stitch - *Yarn over twice, insert hook in indicated stitch. Pull up a loop, yarn over, draw through two loops, yarn over, pull through two loops. Repeat from *, yarn over, draw through all three loops.
Instructions:
Magic Ring, ch 1. Inside ring *Bobble stitch, sc. Repeat from * 4 times. Pull ring tight, sl st to ch 1, finish off with a long end for sewing.
