these are adorable! it's funny to see legwarmers making a come back... they are adorable for little ones. do you think that i could get away with making them for my infant son, or too girly? they are just adorable on your little girl!
ReplyDeleteOur granddaughter wears hers with her baby gowns at night making changing her diaper a breeze and keeping her little legs warm on cold nights!
ReplyDeleteAdorable- Thanks for auditioning for American Crafter!

Alli, thank you so much! I've made the baby hat 2 times already and taught my niece how to follow a pattern by making your hat. She did a great job. I am looking forward to making these cute leggins too. I hope you'll come up with some more simple, stylish patterns!!
ReplyDeleteI love these! Thank you so much for sharing. I've been looking for something to make my new niece, this is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI showed your pics to my husband to explain that I was going to make the leg warmers for a pic of our baby.... his response was "who is that with our baby?" Your baby does look remarkably like ours. I'll post pics when I finish ;)
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for all of your patterns! I recently taught myself to crochet and am now absolutely, HOOKED! I can't seem to get enough! I love your work and how easy your patterns are to understand! When I look for a pattern to use, I giggle at how often I end up at your blog!
ReplyDeleteI have four (yes, 4) baby showers this month, all girls, and you have saved me from baby shower gift monotony! I have used your earflap hat pattern and leg warmers to go with! Keep up the awesome work! Thanks again for sharing!

ReplyDeleteHere is our baby looking adorable!!
So cute! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI had to add a couple of extra rows before doing the last sc row because lil one has long legs but other than that this pattern is super cute and easy to finish! I'll post pics of the finished product soon. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!! I've been looking for baby crochet patterns and came across your site at allfreecrochet.com :o) Im about to have a look and check out your other patterns, they all look so fantastic! So glad I found you!
ReplyDeleteTake your skills on a retro vacation and make simple leg warmers. Use a stitch pattern that allows for stretching so you have room for error and your crochet leg warmers will be entirely customized to fit your legs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the adorable patterns, I'm so glad I found your website! By the way, our baby girls look so much alike that for a second I was wondering how you had a picture of my daughter lol! I'll have to email you a pic
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute! I am stuck right now tho...in round 6 is says" fpdc in 2 dc" does that mean I should fpdc 2x or double crochet through 2 front posts at the same time? I am sure this is because I am a beginner!
ReplyDeleteDo one fpdc in each of the next two dcs.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make these for the Neo-Natal unit at our local hospital for those babies who are unable to wear anything except hats, headbands and little covers on their legs. Is there a way to make them teeny tiny for those babies? Thank you for any suggestions you may be able to offer! Have a great day! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Nancy,
DeleteThis is what I would try. Let us know if it works out!

ReplyDeleteHi! Could you explain round 5 to me? "join to top ch in joining ch 3 with a sl st, ch 1" It's confusing me for some reason. Can't wait to finish these for my niece! Thanks for the free pattern!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I would like to make these for my daughter who is 7 years old! How can I determine the No of the beginning stitches? Thank you for the awesome pattern!
ReplyDeleteTry doubling the pattern! Make q few rows and try it on her, then you'll know if you need to add or subtract!
