At the beginning of the pattern it says the ch 3 does not count as a stitch but then it's treated as a stitch throughout the pattern and if you disregard it as a stitch and then do another 10 DC's then your repeat doesn't come out evenly in round 4. Is the ch 3 counted or not counted?
