I really hate weaving in ends. This headband still has only two ends to weave in, even after sewing on a button - yay for less work!
Supplies:
4.25mm (G/6)
Small amount cotton yarn (I used I Love This Cotton by Hobby Lobby)
Button
Abbreviations:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Dc - double crochet
Instructions:
Round 1: Being sure to leave a long tail, Magic Ring, ch 1. 10 sc inside ring, pull tight, join to first sc.
Round 2: *Ch 2, 2 dc in next sc, ch 2, sl st in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join to first sc.
Headband Chain: Sl st into the body of a sc from Round 1 (you may need to switch down to a smaller hook for this and switch back up for the rest of the chain), ch 13 inches. For me that was between 35 and 45. Join to the body of a sc from the opposite side of Round 1, being careful not to twist. Finish off.
Finishing:
Using the end from the magic ring, sew button on to center of flower. Weave in ends.

Love the pattern. I didn't need to hide any ends, instead, I pulled both ends through flower center and used them to tie my button on. I threaded the yarn into the button holes, tied a knot, and trimmed the excess. Super cute! Thanks!
